Men's Soccer Falls to Shippensburg

SHIPPENSBURG-- The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team lost to Shippensburg on Thursday by a score of 3-1.
The Huskies got on the board first late in the 24th minute when Bryan Darby (Doylestown/Central Bucks East) scored unassisted. Six minutes later Shippensburg tied the score on a penalty kick to make it a 1-1 game.
The score remained 1-1 until the 81st minute of action when the Red Raiders scored to take a 2-1 advantage. The just over two minutes later Shippensburg put the game away with its third goal of the game.
Bloomsburg did record one corner kick and two shots in the final minutes, but could not convert.
The Huskies fall to 2-9-2, 2-8-1 in the PSAC, with the loss. Bloomsburg is home with Slippery Rock on Saturday.
